Warehouse labour management, ensuring planned and actual productivities are in line with CPU target whilst maintaining service standards.
Coordinate accurately the worked hours by individual for monthly payroll.
Recruitment, training & development of warehouse operatives.
Consistently lead and develop logistics practice excellence.
Ensures operational standards and policies are adhered to for product quality, delivery timeliness and within cost target.
Identify and execute operational process enhancements for improved cost performance and delivery quality.
Collate and analyse KPI data for publication to line manager.
Purchases consumables to support delivery of product, cost negotiation to achieve CPU targets improved product margin.
Daily management of the 3PL courier contracts for delivery to consumer and business models.
Maintains regular contact with Customer Services on inbound tickets ensuring appropriate action implemented.
Responsible for equipment routine maintenance and repair without impacting business operations.
The Operations Supervisor must have excellent verbal and written communication, to all levels in the business
Hands on - be willing to step up and support production when required
Organised - produces and executes operational planning effectively
