Human Resources Advisor
This is a new addition to the HR team to ensure we are working closely with the business for the benefit of our employees, customers and shareholders.
Working with the Port leadership and management teams providing proactive HR support to deliver business focused people plans and solutions.
The scope of the role will include:
Providing generalist and operational HR advice aligned to business plans and priorities
Supporting all levels of ER cases including disciplinary, TUPE, grievance and absence management
Support leadership and management through effective recruitment and selection processes
Supporting all levels of line managers with appropriate tools and knowledge to effectively manage their people in line with people plans and priorities
Coaching all levels of line managers in the development of their individual leadership skills
Ensure the Company values are role modelled through the business and HR team
Provide a proactive HR service which includes effective and timely HR innovative solutions that are both business and commercially focused.
Applicants interested in the role should ideally have the following skills and experience:
CIPD qualified (level 5) or working towards/ or equivalent work experience
HR experience in industrial relations environments
Knowledge and experience of organisational development
Excellent negotiation and influence skills
Excellent communication and written skills
Proficient in the use of HR systems and MS office applications.
Hold a full driving licence.
Flexible working patterns will be considered.
