Health, Safety and Environment Manager

Location: Godalming, Surrey or Cardiff, Wales with regular travel to Scitech offices and Client sites across the UK.
Salary: up to £65,000 per annum + profit related remuneration, 25 days holiday and Private Health Insurance, Pension.
Hours: full or part-time

We are looking for an experienced Health and Safety Manager to provide support and advice to the business on health, Safety and Construction Design and Management (CDM).

Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for Scitechs Health, Safety and Environmental processes, procedures and systems. This includes ensuring Scitechs compliance with CDM regulations through support and advice to internal teams and external stakeholders and the provision of operational and functional expertise to site-based teams on construction Health, Safety and Environment matters.

As a minimum, the role requires Certified Membership of the Association for Project Safety (CMaPS) or someone who is actively working towards this.

Previous experience in Construction Health and Safety together with pharmaceutical utilities or equipment is essential. The successful candidate will be fully conversant with CDM 2015 regulations and other relevant Health, Safety and Environmental legislation. A relevant NEBOSH qualification would also be highly desirable.

The position is offered on a permanent full-time basis but part-time hours may be considered.
