We are looking for a motivated individual to take on the full time Account Executive role in our busy Head-office located in Send, Surrey which is commutable by car from Guildford or Woking.

Our client offers IT Solutions and Cyber Security Services in the Guildford, Surrey and London regions. Established to help simplify effective IT support and security services to protect small and mid-sized businesses. We are an innovative company, going through a period of substantial growth and with long term evolution plans for the future.

This is a new sales and account handling role with the company, working closely with the management team and they are keen to have a motivated individual looking for a company where they can develop their skills and progress within. As this is both an office and field role, the Account Executive will need to be flexible to travel within the UK to attend sales and review meetings with clients.

What does the Account Executive role involve? This is a busy role that includes but is not limited to…


Qualifying and managing prospective sales leads and enquiries.
Accurately managing the sales systems and client database.
Attending prospective client meetings.
Achieving annual agreed sales targets.
Analysing prospective client needs, negotiating and closing deals.
Completion of accurate presentations and quotes.
Participate on behalf of the company at networking meetings, exhibitions, and conferences

Account Handling

Retaining, building and maintaining relationships with key current customers.
Maximizing revenue through reviewing, cross-selling and up selling.
Handling customer queries and complaints.
Creating client review reports and attendance at client review meetings.
Providing accurate customer satisfaction and retention reports.


Keeping management informed through regular activity reports and communications.
Working closely with the operations teams to ensure exceptional customer service.
Researching new business opportunities.
Daily administration duties.
Provide support to other departments during busy periods and as needed.

What skills / experience do I need to be a successful Account Executive in the IT Industry?

Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and passion for client management.
A positive, helpful personality.
Willingness to work with a small and productive team.

At least 1-2 years sales / target environment experience is desirable
Experience in B2B sales would be beneficial.
Interest and understanding in the IT Industry and ability to learn IT related technology and jargon.
Excellent telephone manner and written communication skills.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
Desire to develop and progress with the company.

Due to the need to attend client meetings, and networking events, it is necessary to drive and have your own vehicle.

In return for being a successful and motivated Account Executive you will receive a competitive package:

Basic Salary £18,000 to £20,000 experience dependent.
Potential for targeted commission structure, depending on trial period.
Mileage reimbursement for client visits.
